An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 on the richter scale struck Sahibganj in Jharkhand on Friday afternoon.

According to the National Centre for Seismology, the earthquake occurred on Friday at 12.07 pm at a depth of 10 km at Sahibganj in Jharkhand.

Sahibganj deputy commissioner Chittaranjan Kumar said that there was not much effect of the tremor.
