CIVIC DRIVE: Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) enforcement team seizes vegetables of vendors to evict them from Lalpur-Kokar road in Ranchi on Tuesday afternoon.RMC had recently ordered vendors to do business only between 6am and 10am, which they had continued to defy.After Tuesday's crackdown, many vendors alleged their goods were illegally taken away and said they did not get a formal seizure list. Local Congress leader Aditya Vikram Jaiswal supported the vendors.Earlier efforts by the RMC to evict vendors trading beyond stipulated hours had also been unsuccessful. Picture by Prashant Mitra
