Change in train timings

• JAMSHEDPUR: Train services will be hit on the Howrah-Mumbai main line from November 4 to 19, severely in the last three days, due to technical work at Kharagpur junction. A list of trains and revised timings will be released on Friday.

Fee hike dharna

• JAMSHEDPUR: Over 50 first-year students of BA Engineering College at Ghutia near Galudih, about 35km from here, on Thursday staged a campus dharna against their fee hike of Rs 10,000 per semester.

Farewell

• JAMSHEDPUR: Around 50 retired employees of Tata Steel who were members of Tata Workers' Union (TWU) were felicitated at a farewell function at TWU office in Bistupur by outfit president R. Ravi Prasad and others.

• JAMSHEDPUR: The staff of Sreeleathers, a leading footwear company, on Thursday paid floral tributes to shoe baron Ashish Dey who was shot dead on November 2, 2007.
