Bhairavnath Mahotsav inaugurated

Chief minister Raghubar Das speaks at the inauguration of three-day Bhairavnath Mahotsav at Chandankyari, around 28km from Bokaro city, on Saturday while state art, culture, sports and youth affairs minister Amar Kumar Bauri (extreme right sitting) and other dignitaries look on.

The chief minister said tourism was on top of the priority list of his government. "Along with Bhairavnath temple of Chandankyari, a blueprint of several religious spots across the state has been prepared. Better roads will come up in the next one year at all these spots besides other amenities for tourists like good lodges with all facilities and foolproof security," said Das, adding he would again visit next year to take stock of the total implementation of the tourism projects.

Besides, he took the platform to warn the bureaucrats and village heads, who have been given power to plan developmental projects, against adopting any dishonest means or be ready to go to jail.

Dhanbad MP PN Singh, Girdih MP Ravindar Pandey, Bokaro MLA Viranchi Narain, Gomia MLA Yogendra Mahto, Bermo MLA Yogeshwar Batul, Bokaro steel plant CEO Anutosh Maitra and others were also present.
