Ranchi, July 13: India?s first Superman clone on celluloid Krrish may have broken records, but has also led five-year-old Iba Rayt, a kindergarten student of Bishop Westcott Girls? School, Ranchi, to break her left arm. She was imitating the desi superhero flying over cars and diving from skyscrapers.

Last night, when everyone was asleep, Iba, according to her father Shabbir Hussain, went to the balcony of the house situated on the third floor of G.K. Market at Kantatoli, climbed a 13-foot ladder wearing the trademark black mask of her hero and jumped.

According to Iba, Hrithik Roshan?s character moved her so much that she wanted to transform into a superwoman. Iba said the plan was drawn up in school when classmates asked her to perform a trick from Krrish.

?Yesterday, we were discussing Krrish when one of my friends asked me to fly like him. They would follow if I were successful. I took up the challenge and practised by jumping from chairs. At night I climbed the ladder and jumped,? she said, giving a broad smile.

The worried father now refuses to leave his daughter alone, thanking ?almighty God that Iba did not think of jumping off the balcony altogether.

?We had gone to watch Krrish last week, and since then she has been talking about Hrithik Roshan and his manoeuvres. We took it for a child?s normal craze for a superhero and did not bother. Iba also forced me to buy her the Krrish black mask recently,? said Hussain. ?Last night we heard a thud in the balcony, and on rushing out saw Iba weeping. We rushed her to a doctor friend, who said she had fractured her arm badly.?

?She must have quietly slipped out of the room where she slept with her mother and climbed the ladder,? he said. ?We have two rooms and a balcony where we leave the ladder to keep things in the lofts. She, apparently, climbed it with the mask on, shouted and jumped,? he added.

Psychologists said parents need to be careful with their children, especially when they start talking about something.

?Young minds are very sensitive. They tend to believe in whatever they see. If they are seeing a masked man flying all over the city, they get hypnotised and fall in love with the character. They also try to imitate him. When Shaktiman was aired on TV, many children jumped off rooftops. It is the parents? job to convince their children that these are not real,? said S.K. Jha, a psychologist.

Hussain, meanwhile, has vowed not to watch such films with his daughter.

But Iba is still all-praises for Hrithik. ?I simply love him.? Asked about the actr- ess, she quipped, ?Rani Mukherjee?.
