Ziqitza Healthcare deployed Ambulances to serve over 15 lakhs of Devotees at the Magh Mela

The Magh Mela-2022, the 47-day annual religious fair will that formally concluded with the Maha Shivratri bathing, started on 1st March 2022. . Pragya raj Mela Authority (PMA) were determined to ensure that seers, pilgrims and devotees visiting the fair get best of the facilities, and left no stones unturned for the safety of devotees.

Ziqitza Health Care Limited is a pioneer in providing emergency medical transport services in India , was awarded with a tender to operate and manage 30 Ambulances, 2 ALS & 28 BLS, during this Magh Mela Utsav in Pragya raj, Ziqitza also runs 250 Advance Life-support Ambulances in the state under the Public Private Partnership model with Uttar Pradesh Government since 2021.

The Magh Mela is one of the largest religious congregations in India, attended by millions. The over month-long fair is marked by the construction of a massive tented township, complete with cottages, huts, platforms, civic facilities, administrative and security measures. It is organized immaculately by the government, the local authorities and the police. Lakhs of devotees took a dip at the Sangam on the fifth and penultimate bathing day of Magh Purnima during the ongoing Magh Mela. According to mela Adhikari’s around 15 lakh devotes had came take the holy bath. The police personnel were under strict instructions to ensure smooth movement of pilgrims in the mela area and their exit points. They were also directed to manage traffic in the city to avoid any stampedes. Also, Ziqitza’s team strategically deployed the Ambulances and the trained crew (drivers and paramedic) placed at various entry & exit points to reach any emergency situation in the shortest possible time.
