Kochi: Kerala High Court on Tuesday stayed for three weeks the declaration of the results of the all-India entrance exam conducted by the Indian Council for Agriculture Research (ICAR) as aspirants from the state could not take the test because of the floods.

Justice Muhammed Mustaque also issued notices to ICAR and the Centre.

Amal C.T. and Adarsh K.C. had submitted that many aspirants could not take the exam, held on August 18 and 19, because of heavy rains and floods.

The petitioners submitted that the ICAR had ignored the appeal by the state government and gone ahead with the decision to hold the exam. PTI
