New Delhi, Dec. 19: The Supreme Court has directed the Centre to restore the pension of an army jawan, saying the fact of his having four "red entries" in his service records could not be a ground for sacking him and denying him his retirement benefits, reports our legal correspondent.
The court passed the judgment while upholding an appeal moved by Vijay Shankar Misra, a former jawan with the Army Medical Corps, challenging his dismissal and denial of pension.
