Hyderabad, June 21: Prospects of peace talks with the Andhra Pradesh government received a boost today after the People’s War Group responded favourably to a ceasefire offer from the Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy regime, reports our special correspondent.

Politburo member Prakash said in a written statement that the extremist group had held its fire since June 16 when the government announced a “virtual ceasefire”.
