Ramanathapuram, Oct. 30 (PTI): ADMK leader Jayalalithaa’s motorcade was today stoned at Ramanathapuram district, but she has escaped unhurt.

She received a death threat on Wednesday because of her continued opposition to the LTTE. Ten persons were injured in the incident.

Jayalalithaa reacted saying: “This incident is ample proof that police have no control on law and order in the state.”

The leader was on her way to pay homage at the memorial of freedom fighter Pasumpon Muthramalinga Thevar.
