New Delhi, June 30 (PTI): Former chief minister of Delhi and BJP leader Sahib Singh Verma died today in a road accident in Shahjahanpur in Alwar district of Rajasthan. He was 63

The mishap occurred at 2:30 pm when the car in which Verma was travelling collided with a truck on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. Verma died on the spot while four others were seriously injured.

The car was badly crushed in the accident and efforts were being made to extricate the body from the vehicle. Verma was on his way to Delhi from Sikar when the mishap took place. Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje rushed to spot after the news broke.
