Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attended the divisional-level swearing-in ceremony of the Dadsena-Kalar Community held in Bedma village of Keshkal development block.

The event commenced with the Chief Minister garlanding the pictures of Maa Danteshwari, Bhagwan Sahastrabahu, Bahadur Kalarin, and Chhattisgarh Mahtari. The representatives of the Dadsena-Kalar community expressed their gratitude towards Chief Minister Baghel for ensuring support prices for 65 varieties of forest produce by weighing him with mahua flowers.

Additionally, community members welcomed the Chief Minister by adorning him with garlands. CM Baghel also announced the construction of a community hall in Keshkal at a cost of Rs 50 lakh for the Dadsena-Kalar community.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel addressed the people present at the event, highlighting the significant progress made in the fields of healthcare, education, and employment. He mentioned the development of important sites like Devgudi, Mata Gudi, and Pen Gudi, along with the revitalization of tribal religious places.

Baghel also shared the successful organisation of tribal dance festivals that attract national and international artists and contribute to the state's distinct identity. Proudly, he mentioned the successful hosting of the 'National Ramayana Festival' in Raigarh, making Chhattisgarh the first state to organise such a grand event centred on the Ramayana, especially based on the theme of Aranya Kand. The festival saw participation from both national and international artists, adding to its great significance.

Baghel highlighted the significant progress made by the state government in the economic sector, underscoring the implementation of the 'Rajiv Gandhi Kisan NYAY Yojana' aimed at boosting farmers' income.

The state government facilitated loan waivers for farmers and increased the procurement of paddy from 15 quintals to 20 quintals per acre this year. Despite the challenges posed by the lockdown, the administration procured mahua at a higher rate, Rs. 30 per kg, providing economic stability to the people of the forest region, especially the forest dwellers.

Furthermore, the state government initiated the procurement of Kodo-Kutki-Ragi at support prices, leading to a substantial increase in farmers' earnings. The procurement of maize is also being carried out at support prices, ensuring the welfare of agricultural communities.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel shared his commitment to maximising employment opportunities for the people, highlighting the distribution of over 500 appointment letters to deserving youth. These young individuals have secured employment in prominent cities, which has brought great joy to Chief Minister Baghel.

The CM further announced the provision of unemployment allowances to support the youth in their pursuit of a successful career. In the last two months, the government has provided a total of Rs 48 crore as Unemployment Allowances, offering crucial financial assistance to job-seeking youths.

Baghel acknowledged the significant contribution of the hardworking Dadsena-Kalar community to Chhattisgarh's development. He extended his congratulations to the recently appointed office-bearers of the society for their dedication and efforts.

Commerce and Industry Minister Kawasi Lakhma, Deputy Speaker Santram Netam, MP Bastar Deepak Baij, MP Kanker Mohan Mandavi, MLA Kondagaon Mohan Markam, MLA Sanjari-Balod Sangeeta Sinha, and President of Kalar Samaj Purushottam Gajendra also addressed the people in the swearing-in ceremony.

MLA Narayanpur Chandan Kashyap, MLA Anoop Nag, Divisional Commissioner of Bastar Shyam Dhavde, IGP Sundarraj P., Collector of Kondagaon Deepak Soni, Superintendent of Police Y. Akshay Kumar, various people's representatives, and people in large numbers were present.
