Chhattisgarh: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attends Maa Bhaneshwari Jayanti Mahotsav, Mass Marriage Program

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attended the Maa Bhaneshwari Jayanti Mahotsav and mass marriage program held in Singhola village in Rajnandgaon development block on Tuesday.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Baghel performed the Bhoomipujan and the inauguration of 11 developmental works worth Rs. 35 crores 79 lakh 86 thousand. He also distributed articles and cheques worth Rs 9,78,000 to 40 beneficiaries of various departmental schemes of the government.

In accordance with his announcement made during the Bhent Mulaqat program in Rajnandgaon, Chief Minister Baghel provided approval orders of Rs 3 crores 3 lakhs for 26 social buildings and yard construction to beneficiaries under the Revenue Department.

The CM also announced the approval of Rs 30 lakhs for C.C. road construction from the temple premises to the main road, Rs 25 lakhs for the Mangal Bahwan of the Sahu community, Rs 17 lakhs for dome construction in the temple premises, and Rs 10 lakhs for pond beautification.

The Chief Minister extended his best wishes for Maa Bhaneshwari Jayanti Mahotsav and highlighted the contribution of legends and social workers like Maa Bhaneshwari, Bhakt Mata Karma, and Danveer Shah Bhama in serving humanity.

CM Baghel emphasized that the government is following the path illuminated by these saints and working towards public welfare, including education and healthcare services for farmers, labourers, and youngsters. He encouraged the youth to study well, strive for better employment opportunities, and urged society to accept positive change and reject outdated norms.

The Minister of the Home, Jail, and Public Works Department, Tamradhwaj Sahu, stated that the accounts of the lives of all famous personalities and legends of the Sahu community and their gods and goddesses are being compiled in a book.

Sahu urged all the people in the community to give up social malpractice and maintain social harmony. The State President of Chhattisgarh State Sahu Association, Tahalram Sahu, extended the best wishes of Maa Bhaneshwari Jayanti Mahotsav to everyone.

The President of the District Sahu Association Bhagwat Sahu also addressed the program. Famous folk singer Aru Sahu gave a melodious performance.

The President and MLA of Chhattisgarh State Other Backward Classes Development Authority Daleshwar Sahu, MLA Chhanni Sahu, President of the Telghani Development Board of Chhattisgarh Sandeep Sahu, State President of Haldiya Sahu Community Triloki Sahu, Collector Doman Singh, Superintendent of Police Abhishek Meena, District Panchayat CEO Amit Kumar, Additional Collector C L Markandeya, Commissioner of Municipal Council Abhishek Gupta, SDM of Rajnandgaon Arun Verma, and other public representatives, officers, and employees were present on the occasion.
