BACK TO RAM RAJYA, BY NEW PUSHPAK

Lord Ram, played by an actor, landed in Ayodhya on Wednesday in a modern version of the Pushpak Viman, Ravan’s flying machine from the Ramayan days, to commemorate a homecoming that is believed to have heralded Diwali. The touchdown was greeted by Vasistha, whose tilak-applying role was enacted by Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath who declared he wanted to bring “Ram Rajya” back to Ayodhya.
