Chuchura, Feb. 27 :    Chuchura, Feb. 27:  Hooghly district police have arrested 30 men and women from hotels, guest houses and rented rooms from Tarakeswar temple estate area and Champadanga, following a drive against immoral trafficking on Sunday night. Nine of those arrested were women, Hooghly superintendent of police N. Ramesh Babu said. All of those held are between 20 and 30 years old. The raid had been conducted following complaints against the increase in immoral activities in the area. According to the police, house owners in Mandirpara and hoteliers in and around Tarakeswar used to let out their rooms for immoral activities at rates ranging between Rs 200 and Rs 300 an hour.
