53rd International Film Festival of India kicks off in Goa

The 53rd International Film Festival of India kicked off with a grand ceremony at the jam-packed Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Goa on November 20. It is conducted jointly by the National Film Development Corporation and the Entertainment Society of Goa. Keeping with the spirit of the 'Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav' celebrations, the theme of the opening ceremony was 'Evolution of Indian Cinema in the last 100 years'. Here are the stars and eminent filmmakers taking part in the event.
