The festivities commenced on January 22 with an inaugural ceremony graced by the esteemed presence of Vice Chancellor Rev Dr John Felix Raj, SJ, Registrar Professor Ashis Mitra and the Deans from respective departments. The Convener of the Students’ Board (XSB), Md Saifullah Khalid, delivered an inspiring opening speech, setting the tone for the enchantment to follow. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp by dignitaries added a touch of reverence to the occasion, illuminating the path for a plethora of events curated by the dedicated organising committee.
