After Sonakshi Sinha and Zarine Khan, Salman Khan has set his sights on another young protege — Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya.

t2 had reported recently that the action star’s 18-year-old daughter was all set to make her Bolly debut and now it seems that Athiya will be launched by Salman. The Khan has reportedly bought the rights of Subhash Ghai’s blockbuster Hero from the showman.

So while Athiya is all set to slip into the role played by Meenakshi Seshadri in the orginal, Jackie Shroff’s shoes will be filled — not by Salman — by Sooraj, Aditya Pancholi’s son.

While Suniel and Salman have been friends for years now, Sooraj apparently caught Salman’s attention when he was assisting Kabir Khan on Ek Tha Tiger. The Sooraj-Athiya debut is set to go on the floors later this year.
