Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two is smashing box office records worldwide. Just three weeks into its theatrical run, the movie has grossed a staggering USD 498 million globally and is poised to surpass the USD 500-million mark today, according to Box Office Mojo estimates.

Dune: Part Two’s financial success is evident both domestically and internationally, with its North American earnings reaching USD 204.7 million and international markets contributing a substantial USD 293.4 million. The movie has now surpassed the entire domestic box office earnings of its predecessor, Dune: Part One — the 2021 adaptation of Frank Herbert's 1965 novel — which garnered USD 433 million worldwide.


Internationally, Dune: Part Two has garnered significant attention, with standout performances in key markets such as China (USD 36 million), the UK (USD 32.8 million), Germany (USD 25 million), France (USD 24.9 million) and Australia (USD 15.6 million). In India, the sci-fi saga has raked in Rs 25 crore nett so far.

Dune: Part Two continues the mythic journey of Paul Atreides, portrayed by Timothée Chalamet. It has a star-studded cast including Zendaya, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Christopher Walken and Stellan Skarsgård.
