What happens in Bangkok stays in Bangkok. How many times have we heard that line?! Kelor Kirti actresses Nusrat, Sayantika and Koushani rattled off the same line when we asked them to tell us about their Bangkok shoot for Kelor Kirti — co-starring Dev, Jisshu Sengupta, Mimi and Ankush — which recently released in Bangladesh. “It was a paid holiday for us and the perfect travel destination since we were all together,” giggled Nusrat.

Which travel destination comes to mind when you are thinking of taking a holiday?

Nusrat: Wherever I am travelling with my friends... for now it’s Thailand.

Sayantika: As long as we are together.

Nusrat: We had a lot of fun. Okay, here’s a story. I am hydrophobic and Sayantika asked me to dive into the middle of the ocean. It was a one-of-a-kind experience. However, I am a little less scared of water now, only because
of her.

Sayantika: I wanted her to conquer her fears.

Koushani: One piece of gossip that was doing the rounds was that Ankush and I were the new jodi! But it is completely untrue. We are best of friends.

What qualities would you like to see in your soulmate?

Nusrat: He needs to be dashing, presentable, and must be able to carry himself well. A lot depends on how he behaves with others. I want a best friend in my soulmate.

Sayantika: He should be my best friend, and a good human being.

Nusrat: He should know how to make protein shakes for Sayantika (laughs).

Koushani: He should be good-looking, honest, trustworthy, humorous and most importantly someone who respects me as a woman and an individual.

If you run into your ex, you would…

Nusrat: I would turn my face and move away. Exes can never be friends.

Sayantika: I won’t react. Probably just say hi.

Koushani: I’ll pause for a bit. I might observe him. And if he approaches me, I’ll just say hi and walk away.

What’s the one thing you are scared of?

Nusrat: Mimi and Sayantika... when they talk illogically, and I try to make them see reason… they are scary!

Sayantika: I am claustrophobic, so I’m scared of lifts.

Koushani: All kinds of insects, and bees. Also, I’m really scared of getting an early call time, like 4am, and that happens all the time.

Your most prized possession…

Nusrat: My honesty.

Sayantika: My friends and family, and my quadruple children (dogs).

Koushani: My Prada and Dior bags and sunglasses. Michael Kors is also a fave.

Your fave party spot?

Nusrat: I’m partying only in Nocturne. And abroad we can party anywhere, in a room also.

Koushani: Myx and Black lounge.

One song you can’t get out of your head right now…

Nusrat: Sau tarah ke from Dishoom. And I also keep listening to the Justin Bieber track, Sorry.

Sayantika: Bol do na zara from Azhar.

Koushani: The title song of Dishoom.

Dancing in clubs or dancing in movies?

Nusrat: With movies, it’s fun but work, and in clubs no one is bothered, so you can use your hands and legs to dance!  We freak out! And you can go back home injured if you dance beside Sayantika!

Sayantika: Yes, this has happened.

Nusrat: People have called me up and said Sayantika has kicked or punched me.

Sayantika: In films, it happens in a controlled way.

Koushani: Dancing in movies because I can reach out to my fans and show my dancing skills to them.

Three apps you can’t do without...

Nusrat: Swiggy. It has made our lives so easy.

Sayantika: Zeroner keeps track of your calorie count, the amount of calorie you are burning. I keep that on in the gym.

Nusrat: If I start counting my calories, I’ll probably end up in an asylum. I’ll go mad.

Koushani: WhatsApp.

The most disgusting thing you have put in your mouth…

Nusrat: Octopus in Singapore.

Sayantika: Snake soup in China. It was so slimy. I didn’t know about it.

Koushani: My friends pranked me into having beef, which I don’t have. They told me it was chicken.
