The #ThumsUpToofani gang (l-r) Rohit Kumar, Ankita Dey, Ayan Das, Priyanka Ghosh, Trisha Chatterjee, Gurtej Singh Arora, Neha Das, Avimanyu Roy Chowdhury, Spandita Poddar and Subham Sinha ready to pandal-hop with a difference… on bikes and in jeeps. Dressed to the biker nines — leather jackets and denims with a Thums Up tee completing their toofani look, the 10 rode into a sea of pandal-hoppers on Saturday with actors Abir Chatterjee and Parno Mittra lending starry thunder to their strides. Gurtej Singh Arora and Priyanka Ghosh were wild card winners who joined the Thums Up Toofani Gang (with t2) squad by winning a 91.9 Friends FM contest. The pandal-hopping kicked off at Samaj Sebi Sangha.
Toofani fun speak...
“It was a memorable day indeed. I never thought that I would be able to go pandal-hopping with the man I adore the most, Abir Chatterjee! What a way to start my Durga Puja! My favourite pandal was Mudiali Club” — Ankita
“I got a new gang to hang out with and all of the members were so pepped up. My happiest moment in the entire journey was when I got an autograph and picture with Abir Sir! This is the best day of my life till date”— Subham
“This was a big thing for me. Abir Chatterjee and Parno Mittra are so friendly. They are so like us! The bikes, the crowd, the energy… everything was top-notch! I felt like people were treating me like a star” — Avimanyu
“What a lovely day for me! My favourite part of the entire event was when we just started, and we were on our bikes being followed by Abir and Parno in their jeep. Even visiting the last pandal was very exciting for me because it is our para pandal, and I still can’t believe Abir and Parno dropped by!” — Spandita
“It was amazing to ride with my favourite actors. They looked stunning today, especially Abir! I enjoyed a lot today and my favourite pandal would be the Yuba Brinda” — Neha
“The bike ride was the most exciting part for me. And that too my first ride was with celebrities like Abir Chatterjee and Parno Mittra. Everyone around was taking pictures and videos of us!” — Trisha
“It was great interacting with Abir and Parno, they were so friendly! I’m not really the kind to go pandal-hopping,
but this was very different. It was great, I really liked it” — Ayan
