What: The Old Heritan’s Association presents Rendezvous 2015, in association with The Telegraph
Where: The Heritage School
When: January 3

Reunions are all about nostalgia and reliving old memories and Rendezvous 2015 was no different. The old boys and girls braved the winter drizzle to catch up with old friends and teachers.

The evening started with Echo-ing Memories, a photo montage of the “good old days” of school. Beat-boxer Devang Desai and DJ Kunal provided the entertainment for the evening. DJ Kunal spun out hits like Chaar botal vodka, Wake Me Up and, of course, Abhi toh party shuru hui hai... and got everyone grooving. A bonfire beside the dancing area was the hotspot for the addas, pictures and selfies.

Nibbles like Crispy Chilli Babycorn flew off the trays the moment they arrived. There was a Paani Puri stall that remained crowded at all times. The live pasta counter was also popular. The main course included yummies like Stuffed Aloo Dum, Vegetable Biryani and Kaali Dal. Baked Sandesh added the perfect sweet note.
The evening ended with promises of a bigger and grander meeting for the reunion next year.

“This is the first reunion of any kind that I’m attending, and it feels nostalgic. The last day of school is what I remember the most,” said Paridhi Agarwal, batch of 2014.

“When we let them go, it feels as if we are letting a part of us go along with them. Being with them right now feels like that part has come back. It is wonderful how much they want us to share this with them,” said Chirasree Roy Chaudhury, economics teacher.

“It feels good to come back to school. I felt so nostalgic as I walked across the campus. It’s good to see everyone. I see my ex is also here! I don’t know whether I’ll talk to her. I guess I’ll give it a try,” said Jai Pandey, batch of 2013.
