SONG & DANCE:
It was a rocking roller-coaster ride as star performer Mika Singh (picture left) crooned a power-packed medley, for two relentless hours till the clock struck 12.
From the 1980s to 2011, from Jumma chumma, Om shanti om, Pyaar mein dil pe maar de goli to Beedi jalaile, Munni badnaam hui, I hate you (like I love you) and Ooh la la, Mika belted out one hit track after another. What hit the highest notes? Mauja hi mauja, Ganpat and Jugni.
On public demand, the singer had to belt out some of his old favourites too, Sawaan mein lag gayi aag and Something something. Mika handed the beats baton to DJ Vineet by ending with Subah hone na de, his latest from Desi Boyz.
DJ Vineet, on his part, kept the dance floor alive with Ooh la la, Chammak challo and more.

Food & Drink faves:
Chilli Chicken and Fish in Chilli Mustard were the pop picks in a spread of tandoori delights, along with Chinese and Indian fare. Whisky was the preferred poison.
She was wearing: Trench coats with boots and minimal accessories. Red and black were the colours of the night. A few were bold enough to give a cold shoulder to the sliding Celsius with dresses and off-shoulder tops.
Club speak:
“There were more than 1,400 people this evening and guests were coming in even after 11pm. Our USP is a star performer and Mika made it a night to remember for long,” said (retd) Col. A.K. Singh, secretary of the club.
