I am really looking forward to playing Holi with our Kanamachhi team this year. But only in the evening. The morning is reserved for my family. I plan to cook mutton, fish, chutney and rice. I will also watch a good film in the afternoon.

I have decided to rent a house for a day on the outskirts of Calcutta on Holi. Not just my Kanamachhi team, even my TV production team is invited. We plan to play like crazy, but no synthetic colours because we will shoot the next day. The menu is something we are all looking forward to. Mutton, of course, and free-flowing drinks!

Last year I had a blast in Santiniketan. This year I’m looking forward to Raj’s (Chakraborty) party. Raj is a fun-loving guy and this Holi will be special with him in the team!

I will be in Santiniketan for a film shoot. The film (directed by first-timer Ritabrata Bhattacharya) also stars Param (Parambrata Chattopadhyay), Rudra (Rudranil Ghosh), Paoli (Dam), and Tanusree will be there so we will have a lot of fun. But Basanta Utsab is huge there so I am a little jittery about the crowd. Adda, food and bhaang will top the must-do list!

I will stay put at home. I don’t plan to play with colours but I am really looking forward to the bhaang! I love to be in that halo after downing a few glasses... and then I will have a nice Bangali lunch, followed by a catnap. Bliss!
Indrasish
My holiday begins a day before Holi. I have asked my (Rang Milanti) gang — Gourab, Ridhima and Gaurav — to join me on March 7. On Holi, I plan to get up early and go grocery-shopping. We will have great adda over kosha mangsho, paturi and rice!

Like last year, I will celebrate Holi with my gang (Gaurav, Ridhima and Indrasish). I will head for Indrasish’s brother’s place on the Bypass. His brother cooks really well and I am looking forward to a great lunch. But no bhaang for me because I accidentally drank bhaang when I was a child, mistaking it for juice, and I was absolutely sloshed!
Gaurav chakrabarty
This year Holi coincides with my parents’ (Sabyasachi and Mithu Chakrabarty) 26th wedding anniversary, so I plan to celebrate at home with them. But like last year, I will join my friends in the evening.
Ridhima
Last year was great fun and I am expecting the same this year too. We plan to play Holi till afternoon, then take a shower and have lunch. More than playing, it’s the adda that I enjoy.

I am back from the Sunderbans on March 8 morning. Afternoon onwards, the Charuulata 2011 team will gather at our director’s (Agnidev Chatterjee) home in Ballygunge for a Holi bash. There will be loads of colours, I am told! Lunch will be a very Bangali spread... rice, dal, aloo bhaja, mutton curry, mishti doi and paan! My son Ankan will also join us. I am really looking forward to it! And I have kept the evening for my family.
Some will be working, some playing and some chilling. t2 tunes in to some celeb holi plans

We celebrate Holi every year Santiniketan-style with Diksha Manjari (Dona’s dance school) students so that all the kids can play together. It’s been about six-seven years that we have been doing this. We play with abir. Sana plays with her dad (Sourav Ganguly) and friends. Sourav loves playing Holi.

Rupsha (wife) and I usually celebrate it in a very small way at home. This year, our little son (Rup Aarohan Prometheus) will be joining us.... A song I had written called Tritiyo bishwo for Fossils 2 had passing references to Holi.

I’m not too fond of Holi. I will probably be in the studio finishing off some of my personal recording work.

I am not a major Holi fan, but this year I will not get any time at all to celebrate it because I will be in Dubai for the promotions of Kahaani. This year will also be special because it will be the first Holi for my year-old nephew (Ruhaan) and niece (Ira).

I will be shooting for a television show till afternoon. There are a couple of private parties lined up but it all depends when my shoot gets over. I don’t really wait for Holi eagerly, but I do enjoy it. It is good fun as long as you don’t get dirty playing with dirty colours.… Have bhaang, have mithai… good fun. I remember once I had gone to a private bash with a close group of friends and someone put this darkish colour on me that refused to come off for three days. I was freaking out because I had a show lined up in five days. Luckily it went, but it took me three days of (literally) scrubbing my first layer of skin off (to remove the colour)… I like playing fair and square.

The real fun of playing Holi is with your closest friends. Usually, a fashion week follows closely on the heels of Holi. This year, thankfully, it is over and done with. So we are totally chilled out. Personally, I love throwing balloons… in random directions and at random people! We (Dev and Nil) are looking forward to buying white kurtas and play slightly filmi Holi. We will be playing at a couple of friend’s houses. And they are all crazy friends!
Nil
I am a dirty Holi player! (Laughs.) This year, I plan to put dark pink, which I love, on people. And, a naughty Holi colour for me would be dark green!

I am in between cities on Holi, so if the girls in IndiGo (airlines) want to put pink on me, I am happy!

I don’t have any Holi plans as such, but maybe my husband (Gurpreet Singh, model-turned-farmhouse developer) will invite his brothers and sisters. We might also head off to a friend’s party where I know they would play with chemical-free colours.… But we really don’t like to travel on Holi; it is a little risky as they might put colours on the car. My daughter (Nayantara) really likes playing Holi.
