One of the highlights of November 25 at IFFI 53 is going to be the premiere of Tera Kya Hoga Lovely, starring Randeep Hooda and Ileana D’Cruz. The social comedy directed by Balwinder Singh Janjua has paired Randeep and Ileana together for the first time; both the actors are slated to attend the premiere.

Tera Kya Hoga Lovely is set in Haryana and sheds light on the Indian obsession with fair skin. The film revolves around a dusky girl who faces social prejudice because of her skin colour and what she then does to address it. The script has been written by Janjua along with Rupinder Chahal, Anil Rodhan and Kunal Mandekar.

“I believe movies that can make you laugh while also leaving a strong message are rare and such is our film Tera Kya Hoga Lovely. The entire team at Sony Pictures International Productions along with our director Balwinder Singh Janjua is excited for audiences to experience the film for the very first time. We are grateful to IFFI for giving this film a gala premiere and an opportunity for us to be there,” said Ileana.

Her co-star Randeep is equally excited. “I am pleased to have Tera Kya Hoga Lovely screened at IFFI and it is for the first time that audiences will get to experience this special film. It deals with an important subject but in a very light-hearted way. Ileana and I have worked together for the first time and hope we are able to match the audience’s expectations,” added Randeep.
