Barun Sobti, Anjali Anand and Priya Bapat navigate the joys and complexities of being first-time parents while managing time for friendship commitments in the trailer of Sumeet Vyas’s upcoming SonyLIV series Raat Jawaan Hai, dropped by the streamer on Tuesday.

The two-minute-51-second-long trailer opens with a quirky scene where Priya and her on-screen husband, played by Vikram Singh Chauhan, are texting each other from across the bed to avoid waking their child. However, their plan backfires when Vikram’s phone accidentally plays a sound, waking up the little one. The following scenes showcase Barun, Anjali and Priya navigating challenges of their new journey as parents, trying to adjust to their transformed lives.

The video highlights how their lives increasingly revolve around their children. Barun struggles to find even a few moments for himself, while Priya and Anjali come to terms with the reality of being mothers. “We’re just like our kids, only potty-trained,” Barun quips, adding a touch of humor.

The trailer then transitions into heartwarming scenes of the trio bonding with each other, their families and their children, capturing the essence of parenthood in all its chaos.

“When adulting crashes into the chaos of parenthood, all bets are off! Raat Jawaan Hai will take you through the unpredictable lives of three besties- Radhika, Avinash and Suman, as they embark on the wildest adventure of all: raising kids,” reads the description of the show on YouTube.

Directed by Sumeet Vyas, Raat Jawaan Hai is produced by Vicky Vijay under the banner of Yamini Pictures Pvt Ltd production. It is written and created by Khyati Anand-Puthran.

Also starring Priyansh Jora and Hasleen Kaur, the comedy-drama is slated to hit SonyLIV on October 11.
