PRETTY IN PALAZZOS: Delhi-based Samridhi Dhillon was in town to party and start her New Year with a bang. She teamed a bodycon top with comfy palazzos — a perfect contrast! “I added a belt to this outfit only to define where the palazzo  starts,” said the 25-year-old entrepreneur.

THROW IT ON: Sweta Nahata at Plush picked up this dress from AND.
A tip she shared? Separates make life easy! “You can wear the black dress for dinner and add the orange throw if you have plans after,” said the software engineer. That’s
two-in-one!

DRESS IT UP: Debbi Majumder had several shades of pink popping from her #OOTD (outfit of the day). “I bought this dress from Palladium in Mumbai and love how fun and flirty it is,” said the 23-year-old at Nocturne, who matched her outfit with her lipstick and accessories. “I always manage to find matching accessories in my closet.”

SKIRTING ISSUES: Devika Ajmera picked a floral skirt for her night out at Shisha and teamed it with a faded denim shirt. “It’s quite possible to look sassy and sexy at the same time,” smiled the student. She completed the look with booties! #StreetChic

MAX-I IT! Sruti (extreme left) felt that “floral and flowy dresses, especially in chiffon, fall well on the body”. Her friend Alia Piperno (extreme right), 23, who works at Sabyasachi, paired a crop top from Forever 21 with a skirt from UCB. Her winter wardrobe has “long flowing dresses and skirts in pastel shades, loose sweaters with tights and smart blazers”.

SCARF STORY: Say it with a scarf. Amrita Chatterjee took it up a notch with a quirky moustache-print scarf. “Clubbing fashion should be comfortable and edgy,” believes the air hostess at Roxy, who’s almost always “armed with red lipstick”.

TIE & DYE: First-year fashion marketing student Anindita Biswas, who swears by online shopping, rocked a short hairdo in her long flowy maxi. “The world of online shopping has a stunning dress at every click. This tie-and-dye maxi is from Myntra and it is comfortable and super dressy,” said the
“e-portal dependent”.

DO IT IN PAIRS: If Divya Dhillon picked a white dress, friend and martial arts champ Khremelie collared a black tie, both working monochrome as a couple. Mix and match at Myx, we say!

BLAZER TRAIL: Work the trend with a blazer. “This is a self-styled black-and-white blazer which is not exactly a winter jacket but it’s enough to keep you warm during Calcutta winters. Ideally this should be teamed with a pop colour but I didn’t feel it was necessary tonight,” said Kiro at Roxy.

DOUBLE TREND: Madhura combines both trends with her easy- breezy monochrome model. A pop red mouth, a perfect pout and dance-floor flair that flaunted the flare — you’ve got it going, girl!
