With the mercury soaring, a pool and rain party came to the rescue on Friday. t2 & 91.9 Friends FM present Maaya @ Pool, Swissotel, saw the young and young-at-heart make a splash in the famous infinity pool. Keeping the poolholics company were commercial and Bolly beats pumped up by DJ Harish and resident DJ Koushik.
The pool party was “fun and frolic” for Sayantani Guha Thakurta (right). Making the most of the music, the model parked herself in front of the dance floor with her gang of friends and did not budge. “This place has breathing space, a pool and a rain dance party — it’s all I could ask for,” she smiled.
Friends Xav (left) and Chahrazed, who are down from Paris and Tunisia for their internship, had a splash bash. Crazy about Bolly beats, Chahrazed took on the dance floor every time Chittiyaan kalaiyaan was played!
The music guru of the night was DJ Harish (centre) whose set was opened by resident DJ Koushik while DJ Sheikh (left) played a surprise set at the party.
People who stayed away from the pool trickled into the rain dance section that had a mixed playlist of romantic songs like Love Me Like You Do to party numbers like Sooraj dooba hai, Birthday Bash and Bailando.
