Lata's demise leaves Bollywood heartbroken

The legendary singer passed away at 92 on Sunday morning

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed awat at 92 due to Covid related restrictions leaving an unparalled volume of work as legacy. Bollywood woke up to a shocking Sunday with the news of the demise of their favourite Lataji.

Actor Dharmendra Deol wrote, "Whole world is sad !!! Can’t believe lata ji have left us for ever. We will miss you Lata ji. I pray 🙏 your soul be in peace."

Sanjay Dutt mourned the demise of Lata Mangeshkar. The actor tweeted, “We lost a legend… Lata Mangeshkar ji your music, personality, humility will always stay with us for generations… My condolences to the family.”

Actress Kajal Aggarwal has paid a moving tribute to legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. She tweeted, “India has lost its nightingale! You will be terribly missed but your legacy will live forever.”

Kangana Ranaut has mourned the demise of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar in a series of posts on her Instagram stories. Shahid Kapoor has paid a heartfelt tribute to legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, who passed away on Sunday morning. He tweeted, “An icon a legend… words will always fall short. Thank you for your glorious voice Lata ji. It will resonate worldwide for generations to come. RIP.”

Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn has offered his “deepest condolences” to Lata Mangeshkar’s family. He tweeted, “An icon forever. I will always savour the legacy of her songs. How fortunate were we to have grown up listening to Lataji’s songs.”
