Kriti Sanon reunites with her first co-star Mahesh Babu to celebrate 10 years of debut film 1: Nenokkadine

The 33-year-old actress played the love interest of Mahesh Babu’s character in the Bandreddi Sukumar directorial which released in 2014

Actress-producer Kriti Sanon on Wednesday reunited with her first co-star Mahesh Babu to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her debut film 1: Nenokkadine, a Telugu-language thriller that hit theatres in 2014.

Sharing a picture with the 48-year-old actor-producer and his wife Namrata Shirodkar, Kriti penned a heartfelt note on her Instagram story.

“Happy 10 years #1: Nenokkadine. Can’t believe its been a decade!! @urstrulymahesh @namratashirodkar. Miss you @aryasukku sir! Thank you for the best debut and the memories ever!! Aww Tuzo Mogh Korta,” wrote the 33-year-old actress.

Directed by Bandreddi Sukumar, 1: Nenokkadine is a psychological thriller film chronicling the attempts of a schizophrenic rock musician Gautham (portrayed by Mahesh Babu) to find his parents. In the film, Kriti plays the love interest of Mahesh Babu’s character.

Also featuring Nassar, Pradeep Rawat and Kelly Dorji in important roles, 1: Nenokkadine was released theatrically on January 10, 2014.

Having begun her career down south, Kriti later ventured into Bollywood with Sabbir Khan’s romantic action film Heropanti, in which she starred opposite Tiger Shroff.

Kriti has recently finished filming for Do Patti, the maiden project of her own production company Blue Butterfly Films, launched by her in July 2023.

The actress will also star in the romcom Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya opposite Shahid Kapoor. Besides, she will appear alongside Tabu and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the female-led film The Crew.

Mahesh Babu, on the other hand, is all set to star in Trivikram Srinivas’s action drama Guntur Kaaram, slated to hit the theatres on January 12.
