In Bigg Boss: Ever smiling and diplomatic, expect her to be Ms Goody-Two-Shoes.

Claim to fame: Born Rose Dawn, the British actress and model is best known for playing Kareena Kapoor’s best friend in Salman Khan’s money-spinner Bodyguard. Last year, Hazel turned on the heat in the item number Aa aante Amalapuram in the box-office dud Maximum.

In Bigg Boss: The 26-year-old siren will be the show’s oomph quotient.

Claim to fame: The model-turned-actor is known for his turn as the rebel Virat Singh Vadhera in the daily soap Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. Last year, Kushal participated in dance reality show Nach Baliye with his Brazilian partner Elena Boeva.

In Bigg Boss: Extremely popular with the girls, expect him to be the show’s eye candy. Let’s hope he takes off his shirt!

Claim to fame: Seen more on television than in the wrestling ring, starlet Payal Rohatgi’s boyfriend has already participated in reality shows like Bigg Toss, Survivor India and Sach Ka Saamna.

In Bigg Boss: The Big Moose of Bigg Boss. Will be fun to see him get into a physical pow-wow with some of the housemates.

Claim to fame: Best remembered as a snake (yes, you read that right!) in the bizarre Jaani Dushman (2002). Armaan’s last notable screen appearance was in J.P. Dutta’s ensemble film LOC: Kargil. His big miss? Turning down Shah Rukh Khan’s role in Deewana!

In Bigg Boss: Expect him to be the show’s yawn factor. But can he go the Rahul Roy way and take home the trophy just by doing nothing?

Claim to fame: Shot into the limelight as Laali in Zee TV’s TRP topper Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo. The 22-year-old Patna girl also chose a groom on Ratan Ka Rishta, her Swayamvar show on the now defunct Imagine TV.

In Bigg Boss: Though she comes across as quiet, something tells us Ratan will be the starting point of most of the gossip in the house.

Claim to fame: The man who made his debut as a rich, spoilt brat in Subhash Ghai’s Pardes alongside Shah Rukh Khan switched to TV and is best remembered as Armaan Suri, Jassi’s boss in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. Last year, Apoorva and wife Shilpa were caught by cops in a drug bust in a Mumbai hotel.

In Bigg Boss: With his wife around, let’s see what he does.

Claim to fame: Married to Apoorva for nine years, Shilpa is still remembered for her role as Ganga in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Was seen most recently as a contestant on reality show Survivor India.

In Bigg Boss: Be prepared for some husband-wife tiffs and maybe even some public display of affection.

Claim to fame: Anand Kuma, better known as VJ Andy, is a host on Channel V. Andy is a hit for his wacky sense of humour and wackier sense of dressing.

In Bigg Boss: Andy may not be as entertaining as last season’s Imam Siddique but could well turn out to be the show’s fun factor.

Claim to fame: Rajesh Khanna’s alleged live-in girlfriend has been in the news for a property tussle with Dimple Kapadia and Co. after the actor’s death last year.

In Bigg Boss: Expect her to spill the beans on her relationship with Kaka and her run-in with Dimple.

Claim to fame: The part-Greek, part-Swedish model makes her Bolly debut with October film Mickey Virus, co-starring TV funnyman Manish Paul. Elli’s mother is the award-winning Swedish actress Maria Granlund.

In Bigg Boss: Expect her to speak little since she isn’t very fluent in Hindi.

Claim to fame: The 22-year-old TV star from Jamshedpur played Anandi in the Colors hit show Balika Vadhu. Pratyusha also participated in dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa last year.

In Bigg Boss: Could be the cry baby of the show. After all, she’s had much experience shedding copious tears as Anandi.

Claim to fame: Much like last year’s winner Urvashi Dholakia, Kamya plays negative roles on TV. Her most famous turn? The evil Sindoora in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann.

In Bigg Boss: Expect her to live up to her vamp image, sparking off most of the fights.

Claim to fame: The producer of films like Ready and No Problem, Rajat is known to be a close friend of Salman. Looks familiar? Rajat played Tsunami Singh, Salman’s fat sidekick in Bodyguard.

In Bigg Boss: Along with Andy, he should bring in some fun and laughter to Bigg Boss.
