November started on a high note, no pun intended, with the sixth annual dinner of the Calcutta Wine Club (CWC), hosted at The Oberoi Grand. With a nine-course dinner, seven kinds of wine, a photography corner and nearly 75 guests, the evening was ‘buzzing’ from the word go. Only t2 was there.

Cory Wilcox, management officer, US consulate general, with wife Jennifer Heemstra, and George and Ritu Kuruvilla. “The association of The Oberoi Grand with Calcutta Wine Club has been very enriching. The annual dinner brought together the growing fraternity of wine aficionados in the city, which speaks volumes for the success of the club in imparting knowledge on every aspect of tasting, selection and serving of wine each year,” said Oberoi GM Kuruvilla.
