Hollywood veteran Jamie Lee Curtis on Friday reminisced about the “magical moments” of 2023, dropping pictures with her first Oscar for Everything Everywhere All at Once from the 95th Academy Awards ceremony.

The 65-year-old actress, who won the Oscar in the best supporting actress category, also posted pictures with co-star Huy Quan, publicist Heidi Schaeffer and husband Christopher Guest. She also posted a picture with her puppy.

“This not so young girl had a year of magical moments. No one was more surprised than me. Surprised and delighted,” she wrote on Instagram.

“This was taken immediately after and then, with my beloved, longtime friend and publicist of over 40 years, Heidi Schaeffer, and then seeing my man when I came back into the theater and then home with my pup,” she also wrote.

In Everything Everywhere All at Once, Curtis plays Deirdre Beaubeirdre, a tax agent who turns into an arch nemesis of Michelle Yeoh’s Evelyn, a middle-aged Chinese immigrant who must save the world by exploring multiverses and connecting with other versions of herself.

Recently, Curtis confirmed on social media that she will lobby for the role of Dr Kureha for the second season of Netflix’s live-action series One Piece. One Piece live-action writer Matt Owens responded to Curtis’ Instagram post, saying that they should take it forward after the Hollywood strikes come to an end.
