What: The Enchanted Kingdom by The Bengal Rowing Club, in association with The Telegraph

What to expect: Lots of super-fun activities, like twin tower obstacle course, inflatable twister with spinner, happy car, space bike, inflatable battle ball arena, kids’ crane, rotating giraffe bounce, kids’ indoor water roller and more. Children — and those who are still a child at heart — are sure to have a “bewitching” experience this Christmas!
Passes: Available for members and their guests at the club reception. Remember, there are limited number of tickets, so pick ’em up fast!
Organiser speak: “Like every year, this is the event of the year for our club. We are expecting around 2,000 children on Sunday. It will be the best experience they can have during Christmas,” promised Piyush Bhagat, president, The Bengal Rowing Club.
OUTRAM CLUB
• What: Outram Club presents Musical Programme in association with The Telegraph
When: December 24, 7.30pm onwards
What to expect: A special musical evening on the club lawns to usher in Christmas with Mallar of Amul Star Voice of India fame. Mallar is expected to enthral the audience with recent chartbusters as well as oldies from Bollywood.
Dress code: For men, tie and coat. No dress specification for women.
• What: Outram Club presents Christmas Evening in association with The Telegraph
When: December 25, 4pm to 10pm
What to expect: It will be a special celebration for women with fashion shows, music and dance programmes performed by the members’ wives and daughters. Check out stalls set up by the members, selling snacks and handmade accessories.

When: December 26, 7.30pm to 10pm
What to expect: An evening soiree with Surojit O Bondhura. Popular Bhoomi songs as well as lots of fun and peppy numbers are expected.

What: Novotel presents The Christmas Carnival, in association with t2
When: December 25, 11am to 4pm
What to expect: If you want to make Xmas day all about your kids, then Novotel is the place to be. It’s a Christmas Carnival that includes trampoline, balloon shooting, tumble tosser, puppet and magic shows, along with live mascots. There will also be a merry-go-round, photo booth and a visit by Santa Claus to keep them hooked.
Dress code: Casual.
Passes: Rs 699 per child (five-12 years) and Rs 999 per adult.
Organiser speak: “Christmas Carnival will be a day of fun and frolic with lots of activities for all age groups. Owning the largest rooftop banquet in the city gives us an opportunity to host this grand carnival. My personal pick is the life-size walk-in gingerbread house at the lobby, where one can sit and relish Christmas cookies, desserts and treats,” said Sandeep Johri, general manager, Novotel Kolkata Hotel and Residences.
THE LAKE CLUB

What to expect: An evening with Calcutta boy Kamran Khurshid who will belt out popular desi and English numbers, while members of Beat Busters will entertain the guests with some super moves on the dance floor. After Kamran, DJ Sammy will pep up the beats for you to join the dance floor.

What to expect: A lavish Christmas lunch, complete with roast turkey and wine. Singers Carlton Pereira and Aradhona will belt out retro classics as well as Christmas carols.

What to expect: Aditi Munshi and Durnibar Saha of SaReGaMaPa fame will enthral the audience with modern Bengali numbers. The club kitchen will arrange an Indian and Oriental spread for the evening.

What to expect: Singer and composer Jeet Gannguli to set the mood with his troupe, followed by Bangla folk band Dohar.

Organiser speak: “DKS is a home away from home for us. So we celebrate this festive season with friends and family and our tradition is to allow children along with their parents at the celebrations.
