She used to swear by the phuchka at Vivekananda Park. She would have rice, aloo posto with dollops of ghee, fish, meat and sweets during the workshops for the film Posto. All that is history. For the last one-and-a-half year Mimi Chakraborty has been going through a strict workout regimen at the Solace gym in Sunny Park and the fitness plan has paid off. She is fitter, toned and glowing! Excerpts from Mimi speak...
Gym mode on
I used to do yoga at home. That was helping me. I was fit but I wanted to tone up. So I started searching for a new gym, which led me to Solace. I started with fun exercises here and soon noticed changes in my body. That’s when I got hooked to it.

Lean and thin
From the film Gangster (2016) to now, you’ll see a huge difference in me… I was really lean and thin for Total Dadagiri (2018). For the first one month, I pushed myself to go to the gym. After one month, I started getting fit. I no longer got headaches. I was sleeping well. Eating late and sleeping late were over. My right hand was weak. And I started finding strength in my hand.

Diet plan
I eat everything... rice, fish, meat, eggs. I am a mutton lover. I have mutton once a week.
I wake up early in the morning and the first thing I have is almonds soaked overnight, with walnuts and raisins. Then I have one fruit — apple or pear. After that I have amla and aloe vera juice. After 15 minutes or half an hour, I have a breakfast of cornflakes and chia flakes and pumpkin seeds with blueberry or strawberry, and almond milk. An alarm goes off on my phone every two hours alerting me that it’s time to eat. By 2pm I’m done with my lunch. I usually have vegetarian for lunch. I love to have homemade paneer, dal, sabzi and rice.
I finish my dinner by 7.30pm, which consists of multigrain roti or oats khichuri. Chicken is off my diet for now.
