It’s a Splitsvilla that has united two hearts, at least for the time being. SHRADDHA HARIB HAI, of the thick accent and sweet looks, emerged winner in the war for love in the MTV show and, as expected, voted for Vishal Karwal to be her partner. The two will now host a new show as MTV’s first couple VJ while Shraddha also wins a booty of Rs 2.5 lakh. Born in South Africa, educated in the US and now starting a career in India, Shraddha faces t2 after a month of isolated existence in a villa at the Grand InterContinental, in Goa.

How was it inside Splitsvilla?
With no contact with the outside world, no television, no reading material, you are forced to interact with the others. The only time you are by yourself is when you are in the bathroom. But with 20 girls try ing to get ready, you get five min utes to use the bathroom. As for re lationships, some you click with, some you don’t. Even for the ones you click with, the judging never stops. I got along well with Boski and Minaxi from the start, even Annie and Anuva.

Which girl underwent the most shocking transforma tion?
Annie was the youngest. So she was treated as the kid of the house. She liked Varun in the beginning, then fell for Vishal and again she was back with Varun. Yamini shocked me the most. On one day she was sweet, on the next she was ambiguous and then back-biting. She praised the boys so much but she left with a bad taste in every one’s mouth (calling Vishal and Varun unfit to be her driver or spotboy).

Is love possible on camera?
It depends on how true you are. If you are not acting, you will not be aware of the camera. I wasn’t, Vishal wasn’t.

How does it feel being watched all the time?
The last day I was so tense that I wanted to explode. That is the only time I felt bombarded because of lack of privacy. I locked myself into the bathroom. But if you stay in for more than five minutes the crew starts to knock. They know they are losing out on good footage. I also tried writing to give vent to my feelings but they didn’t like that either.

What would you write on?
They wouldn’t give us paper. But I’d find anything — used envelopes etc.

Have you found your suitable boy?
(A minute of uncontrollable laugh ter follows)...It’s too early to answer but (I am) hoping for the best. My parents have not met Vishal but my mom has seen the show and is high ly impressed. Suitable is an under statement...Vishal is an unbeliev able guy.

Would you want to return to Splitsvilla 2?
Why should I? I got what I wanted. Meeting Vishal was the most valu able thing. And then the show.

What show would you like to host?
A travel show with adventure and excitement though Vishal would like a reality show.
