Dil Dhadakne Do to Hrithik Roshan relaunching a book on dad Rakesh written by sister Sunaina –– sibling love seems to be the theme for this year’s IIFA Awards.

A few hours before Team Dil Dhadakne Do descended on the IIFA green carpet, Hrithik was at the JW Marriott hotel in the central district of Kuala Lumpur to relaunch To Dad with Love. “My father has endured a lot of problems in life –– from facing bullets to personal setbacks and he’s come out trumps all the time. He is an amazing human being who, however, never likes talking about himself. Till the day my sister Sunaina decided that we needed to let the world know about the man he is,” smiled Hrithik, cutting a smart figure in a black suit and glares.

Hrithik –– who has penned the foreword to the book –– says that his dad has been his “biggest support and inspiration” and it is for him that he has become the man he is. “His values and his upright ideas about love... the freedom he gave us has been immense. We are what we are because of him,” said the Bang Bang man who wowed fans at a meet-and-greet at a city mall on Friday.

Though sister Sunaina couldn’t make it to Kuala Lumpur, Hrithik made her a part of the launch by FaceTiming (videotelephony from Apple) with her right then and there. “Our dad is very special to us and we wanted the world to know what a great man he is... selfless and strong,” said Sunaina. The parting shot from li’l bro Hrithik: “Love you Didi... and love you all!”
