He has been a part of the pop culture top brass perhaps the longest of all the Chrises, thanks to his role as the Human Torch in the Fantastic Four films in the early 2000s, The Losers and Scott Pilgrim vs The World. He is chivalrous, thoughtful, generous and a beef-cake. Sounds like Captain America? Ever wonder why Evans fits the role so well? Add those puppy-dog eyes and a stellar sense of humour to the mix and you almost have the perfect man. And every time we see those muscles straining his T-shirt, our hearts beat that much louder.

And then as the rough-and-ready velociraptor trainer Owen Grady in last Thursday’s release Jurassic World. Not to forget that in real life, he’s a loving husband to Anna Faris and a doting dad to Jack. We love everything about this new Chris on the block. The X factor is his sense of humour, on screen or off it (look up his tweets and interviews).

His ability to make an artistic film into a box- office success, which is finally hailed a masterpiece, puts him in a league of his own.
