The best thing about the Steamed Prawn Wantons in the Dim Sum section is the wrap. Team it with Prawn Meatball Soup. It is light, low on spice and whets your appetite instantly. #comfortfood

“We have received an overwhelming response at all our outlets ever since we opened in 2010. Many of our regular guests from Patuli wanted us to go there. So we opened it on popular demand and the Patuli residents are already loving it,” said Debaditya Chaudhury, MD of the Chowman chain of restaurants.

With more expansion plans in the pipeline (expect outlets in Shyambazar and Behala soon), the motto of the Chowman owners is to make “our food accessible in every corner of the city.” 

With more than 15 prawn and 20 fish dishes, the seafood section is the best part of the Chowman menu. Try Fish in Pepper and Garlic Sauce — succulent, hot and tangy bekti with a hint of sweetness. #tasteofasia
