There’s a couple in love and also the shadow of a troublemaker in Bohu Bohu Din Pore, the first song to drop from first-time director Arna Mukhopadhyay’s film Athhoi.

Produced by Jio Studios and SVF Entertainment, Athhoi is a modern adaptation of Shakespeare’s play Othello. Set to release on June 14, the film stars Sohini Sarkar as Diya, based on Desdemona. Arna Mukhopadhyay plays Dr Athhoi Lodha, based on Othello, while Anirban Bhattacharya takes on the role of Gogo, a character inspired by Iago.

Bohu Bohu Din Pore is picturised on Athhoi and Diya going on bike rides and romancing, culminating in them getting married, in the presence of Gogo.

The song is written by Anirban Bhattacharya, who is also the creative director of the film. Durnibar Saha and Ikkshita Mukherjee have sung the track to the music composed by Amit Chatterjee.
