With or without the towel, in blue or in any other shade, as Raj or by any other name, Ranbir is a good-looking guy. Getting his grandfather’s eyes and his father’s baby face helps. He is male without being macho. It’s a middle-of-the-road masculinity, both tough and soft. He has to guard against that slightly-stupid grin but this bindaas boy is very much today’s heart-throb. Chilled-out and charming, he looks smashing in Deepika’s arms. Many girls hope, not for long.

Those lovely eyes that script an ode to innocence. No wonder Farah Khan made Deepika a 1970s’ beauty and a gum-chewing tomboy of today. And she looked great as both. If seeing her bathed in the Sydney sun with Ranbir for company makes you go ‘wow’, seated across the table the other day, all we could mutter was… mashallah.

He makes bad look oh-so-good. TFH (Tall, fair and handsome, sillies!) Neil Nitin Mukesh may well turn out to be Bollywood’s dark horse. He was criminally cool in his debut film Johnny Gaddaar. Chiselled features, piercing hazel-grey eyes and a killer smile offset an innate boyish charm. The strapping 26-year-old is already being touted as the next big thing, thanks to the films with Madhur Bhandarkar and Yash Raj in his kitty. What’s more, he has even inherited some vocal genes from grandfather Mukesh and dad Nitin Mukesh. Very handsome and very eligible, eh?
Looked best in: The scene in Johnny Gaddaar where he breaks into an impromptu jig with the intro to Doob ja playing in the background. Super sexy. Super cool.
