Wow woman!
While Best Actress winner Brie Larson couldn’t make it to the awards, Leo’s close buddy Kate Winslet — looking smashing in Antonio Dorani — won Best Supporting Actress for her stellar act in Steve Jobs, saying that this win vindicated her decision to pursue acting even after being discouraged by her drama teacher. “When I was 14, I was told by a drama teacher I might be okay as long as I was happy to settle for fat girl parts. Well, look at me now! So what I feel like saying is any young woman who has ever been put down by a teacher, or a friend, or even a parent, just don’t listen to any of it because that’s what I did. I didn’t listen. I kept going and came over my fears, my insecurities, and kept doing it. Believe in yourself,” smiled the 40-year-old stunner.
