HUM CHAAR, HUMAARE CHAAR!The four co-owners of ATK — (L-R) Harsh Neotia, Sourav Ganguly, Sanjiv Goenka and Utsav Parekh — were in celebration mode after ATK slammed four goals against FC Goa on Super Sunday and put one foot in the ISL semis. “We are peaking at the right time and the whole team is playing well. We have a good chance to win it this time too,” said Sanjiv Goenka, a bright smile on his face. Dada, who usually sits calmly in his sofa, was seen jumping to his feet and high-fiving Sanjiv and Utsav when ATK scored twice in quick succession.

ATK sports director Alberto Marrero (left) and marquee man Helder Postiga were Calm with a capital C throughout the game, but looked relieved after the final whistle. Here’s waiting to see you back in the box, Postiga (yes, the man who was Cristiano Ronaldo’s strike partner in Portugal).

ATK’s Spanish keeper Juan Calatayud’s wife Elena Navarro and 21-month-old son Enzo Calatayud are loving life in India. “We came here before the start of the tournament and will leave after the finals,” said Elena, who loves spicy Indian food and the fireworks. “It’s incredible to see how passionate Indians are about football... Juan absolutely loves playing here!” she smiled.

Strength and conditioning coach and t2 columnist Ranadeep Moitra got gallery-view of the game for the very first time. “I’m more used to being in the dugout and dressing rooms, but it was great fun in the ATK box. It was nice catching up with Sourav after a long time,” said Ranadeep, who was at the match with wife Smeeta.

Saharsh Parekh (seen here with Sourav and Sanjiv) is always in the thick of things when it comes to anything ATK. Saharsh’s player of the season so far? Borja Fernandez. “He has been great, controlling the game from midfield,” smiled Saharsh. What is a typical adda with the ATK boys like? “I speak to them about everything, including football. I mostly banter with them, especially Iain Hume, who is a Liverpool supporter,” said Utsav Parekh’s younger son, who supports Liverpool’s arch-rival Manchester United in the English Premier League.

(L-R) Preeti Goenka, Nilangi Parekh and Dona Ganguly were all smiles after the game. “Sourav and I are both sure about reaching the play-offs, but somehow Sana still isn’t convinced!” laughed Dona.
