Friends and family rallied around Shivika Goenka (centre) as the vice president of special projects, Quest, flagged off an eventful calendar for The Loft. First up was Paint Versus Perception, an art show, held at the multi-utility space on the 6th floor of Quest. “I think she is doing a great job… she is really working hard at it… it is an interesting mix of artists,” said mom-in-law Preeti who loved Yuvraj’s work and ‘Unlock’ by Arunanshu Chowdhury. “Keep doing a lot of work like this,” was hubby Shashwat’s message for Shivika. The youngest president of the Indian Chamber of Commerce loved ‘Rainbow Wings’ by Suparna Mondal. “Just very vibrant… colourful… it’s interesting and intriguing to look at… not your regular-shaped canvas,” he said. Suparna described it as “an aerial view of the city”. “All my friends said that the works are really cool. Different event for sure. I am looking forward to the next event now… Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop. Pernia will be there personally to help assist in styling and give fashion advice. Also there will be more than 16 clothing, jewellery and accessories designers, including the bestsellers from Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop! Don’t miss! This is the first time Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop is coming to Calcutta,” smiled Shivika.
Dad-in-law Sanjiv Goenka dropped by, with Dilip Sen, MD, Quest Properties India Ltd, and Sanjeev Mehra, VP, Quest Properties India Ltd, at the special preview on July 28. The show was open on
July 29-30.
