Alia Bhatt sported a black Sabyasachi sari at the special screening of the upcoming Amazon Original crime series Poacher in London on Sunday. Here’s a look at some of her moments from the event, also attended by her family and the cast and crew of the series.
Alia Bhatt, the executive producer for Poacher, stunned in a Sabyasachi black embroidered sari paired with layered pearl choker necklace, red lipstick and matching earrings.
Alia was accompanied by mother Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt at the movie screening.
“All dressed up for a very special day,” Alia captioned her post.
Reacting to her post, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan commented, “Absolutely fabulous.”
Alia Bhatt and director Richie Mehta posed for a picture together during the screening. The series is written and directed by the Emmy Award-winning filmmaker.
Actress Frieda Pinto and Bend It Like Beckham maker Gurinder Chadha also attended the movie screening. Freida sported a black blazer over a black turtleneck t-shirt with beige high-waist trousers.
The upcoming series — featuring an ensemble cast of Nimisha Bhattacharya, Roshan Mathew and Dibyendu Bhattacharya — is set to stream on Prime Video in India and across more than 240 countries and territories worldwide from February 23 in Malayalam, Hindi and English.
