Saif Ali Khan’s Lankesh and Kriti Sanon’s Janaki recreate the Sita Haran scene from the epic Ramayana followed by Prabhas’s Raghava on the battlefield in the VFX-heavy final trailer of Om Raut’s fantasy action-adventure film Adipurush, which is set to hit the theatres on June 16 in 3D.

Dropped by T-Series on Tuesday evening, the two-minute-24-second-long trailer begins with the abduction of Sita by Lankesh. We also see an injured Jatayu falling from the sky followed by Prabhas’s Raghava taking vows to bring back Janaki by defeating the evil Lankesh. The trailer also shows Raghava raising an army of monkeys for his invasion of Lanka. He is seen giving rousing speeches to motivate his troops for an epic clash. It ends with the evil laugh of Lankesh and Raghava getting ready for the epic showdown.

On Tuesday, Prabhas shared the trailer on Instagram. “Har Bharatiya Ki Adipurush,” he wrote in the caption.

Adipurush is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair. The film’s music is composed by Ajay–Atul. It is reportedly the most expensive Indian film of all time with a budget of over Rs 700 crore.
