India’s first woman Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s role has been essayed by many actresses in films over the past several decades. Indira has been widely portrayed as a sharp and upright leader in most films. On the 105th birth anniversary of the late politician, we take a look at some of the most memorable portrayals of Indira Gandhi, also known as the ‘Iron Lady’ of India, in recent Hindi films.
