Alongside singing, Usha Uthup jammed away on her bongos. “The show was absolutely fabulous and I enjoyed every moment of it. There is something magical about Park Street, especially at HRC. So many generations have heard me perform and the crowd just wanted my music. The song is always bigger than the singer, which is why people still want my music,” said Usha post-show.

The mother-daughter duo of Shabana Parveen and Mishail Khan were in the front row throughout. “We had a lot of fun and loved the energy of the place. My mother is a huge fan of Usha Uthup and she made me listen to her songs, so we loved her tracklist,” said Mishail, a student of NUJS.
“I have been following Usha Uthup since I was a child and my mother gave me the passes for the night. I sang almost every song that night and I would definitely watch her live again,” said Shreya Ghosh Sen, a fashion designer.

“Usha Uthup rocked the stage with her energy. The audience loved her and wanted her to keep performing,” said Amit and Vanita Bajoria, directors, Hard Rock Cafe Calcutta.

Hyatt Regency general manager Birgit Holm was in the audience with friend Morten Rainier-Svendsen. “What a great rocking concert! Great to see so many fans of all ages enjoying together,” said Birgit.
