
This is the season of coughs and colds. Turn to turmeric. Have a glass of turmeric milk in the morning or before going to bed. This not only builds immunity with its antiviral qualities, but also brings with it a range of beauty benefits. It purifies the blood and refreshes the skin.
It is very easy to make turmeric milk. Full-fat milk should be used for the best results, as the fat helps to absorb the
nutrition of turmeric. You can add sugar, honey or black pepper for taste and flavour.
Use ½ tea spoon turmeric powder or 1” piece of fresh turmeric. Boil it in ½ cup full-fat milk added to ½ cup of water for
10 minutes. Add sugar, honey or black pepper and drink it while it is still warm.
You can have it every day.
