Four-and-a-half-year-old Souyorsa Dutta from Little Laurates, Dum Dum, gave the cutest expressions while dancing on stage. No doubt he took home a prize. Souyorsa also solved a puzzle in the game zone and won stickers.
Samridhi Mitra, a Nursery student at DPS Joka, came to the carnival with her mother. She played Help Kicko Reach Super Speedo and Stag The Pyramid in the game zone before posing with Honey and Bunny from Sab Jholmaal Hai.
Krishna Deb Majumder has 10 Hot Wheels cars at home and loves speed. Reason enough to be a fan of Kicko and his automated Super Speedo car. Krishna danced with Kicko and got clicked with his favourite Guru and Bhole. “I love the way Super Speedo functions and Kicko is so smart,” he beamed.
Prince Bagui of Hariyana Vidya Mandir had his moment of glory when he got to click a photo with his favourite superhero, Kicko of Kicko & Super Speedo. The Upper KG student’s day was definitely made.
Three-and-a-half- year-old Krishiv Soni of Clifford House Montessori loves watching Sab Jholmaal Hai and Guru aur Bhole. Popat and Honey are his favourites.
Sonakshi Majumder, a student of Bhavans Gangabux Kanoria Vidyamandir, played host to cousins Ishika and Ritika Saha from Bangladesh. “We love watching cartoons together,” said Ritika.
Kavish Sadhwani was a pro at the games. “I have three remote- controlled cars at home, so it was easy winning Help Kicko Reach Super Speedo,” said the Class II student of MP Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School.
BFFs Aarav Tantia (in red) and Ayan Mitra enjoyed the company of their toon friends on and off the stage. The Class I students of Don Bosco Park Circus flaunted their tattoos for t2 before heading for a photo op.
(L-R) Rishabh Layek of St. Lawrence High School and Malkit Pareek of Mangalam Vidya Niketan twinned in yellow. The boys had their hands full with prizes. While Malkit won Kicko & Super Speedo merchandise and puzzles, Rishabh danced with Kicko and showed off his spoils — a Sab Jholmaal Hai water bottle, Kicko & Super Speedo pencil box and a tiffin box.

Kicko, the new toon star of Sony Yay! and the popular jodi of Guru and Bhole kept around 2,000 children entertained at Kids Carnival, presented by Telekids and Sony Yay!, at City Centre Salt Lake on June 9 and 10.

Kicko taught his young fans some great moves as he danced to Jeetwala geet. Guru and Bhole also got the kids grooving to the infectious Gaaye Guru aur Bhole naache.

Games stalls, a tattoo corner and photo ops with the mascots had the little ones smiling.

“Ours is the only channel that serves desi content that also has relevance. Our cartoons are also available in Bengali,” said Leena Lele Dutta, business head, Sony Yay!
